Centennial Eye & Cosmetic Associates was established in Centennial, CO in 1996 by board-certified ophthalmologist Kim Burrell, DO.
Dr. Burrell grew up on the East coast but fell in love with Colorado after visiting. After completing her doctorate, she and her husband, Paul, moved across country to settle down and build a life together here in Colorado. Dr. Burrell believes in developing a partnership with her patients and working with them to achieve the best possible treatments and outcomes. Thanks to her hard work and dedication to the preservation of eye health and vision, Centennial Eye & Cosmetic Associates is known as a Dry Eye Center of Excellence in the community.
As Doctor of Osteopathy, Dr. Burrell brings a patient-centered approach to her treatments and has her patients participate in their care. Her specialized, advanced training offer patients the most comprehensive care available today. Dr. Burrell is available for surgical consultations, dry eye exams and cosmetic procedures.
Our medically trained Optometrist, Dr. Eric Van Meter has a similar patient care approach and has continued his professional development through externships, research projects, and continuing education courses. He has been recognized as A Gold Key International Honor Society Member and a pillar of our community. He has volunteered at Craig Hospital as a Physical Therapy Volunteer, taught CPR and First Aid at the University of Colorado as a certified American Heart Association Instructor and has provided comprehensive eye exams to low income, underserved patients with the Neighborhood Christian Clinic.
